A Note of Thanks and Support

When I reflect on this course one word come to mind: "battle". I say this because becoming an advocate means you're a warrior and need to get ready to do battle and prepare to fight. I felt as though I was the lieutenant and my classmates were my soldiers. Together we were ready to do battle. I got that analogy because with every step I took my classmates were ready to back me up. As I went from blog to blog, discussion to discussion, I got a lot of positive feedback.
I do believe that I have supported my classmates by doing the following:First, I let each of them vent on how frustrating this process can be both verbally and through emails. Secondly, I respected my classmates differences because even though we might not always agreed on things, I respect their point of view.
I would like to take a moment to express thanks to all of you for the support. Thanks for your kind post that you guys sent. Congrats to you all!!!

  3. I'm glad that I helped you with the last posts. You gave me some great ideas to use for my Advocacy Plan. I agree with you about how this became a battle for all of us. It was a lot of hard work, but it's worth it to find out the overall results.

  4. Writing and gathering the resource material for my research paper was difficult, but I would like to say thank you to all my colleagues at my school for their encouragement and for always being there for me. Their daily support gives me the strength to be the best I can be for my students and their families. I hope that each of you continue to grow in your careers and carry on the advocacy efforts you have gained from this class.
